What Will the Program Look Like? Example 2017 Leadership Brochure

The Ashland & Bayfield Counties Leadership Program, for 15-20 chosen participants, is an interactive opportunity to strengthen individual leadership skills. With an emphasis on networking, decision making, and personal development toward building richer relationships, this two-county invitation is extended to anyone wishing to fine-tune their interpersonal skills of leadership. Effective public and private leadership requires great flexibility working with diverse populations, interests, passions, and talents. We’re hoping the program participants comprise that diversity.

If this speaks to you in your current leadership position, or you’re considering taking a greater leadership role in your community or work, this is a great opportunity for you to hone those skills to be a more effective leader. Varied Ashland/Bayfield locations expose the participants to a variety of settings to broaden awareness and appreciation of this beautiful Chequamegon Bay area.

The program’s focus is to create a network of local leaders who will help guide our communities through change while insuring the healthy quality of life we so cherish. Engaged citizens are better prepared leaders who, in turn, increase the effectiveness of organizations and the vitality within communities.

Who benefits?  The individual program participants and the organizations in which they’re involved will benefit from the program. This program enhances a group of energized individuals bringing new skills to civic engagement and community participation.
