Parents Forever: Co-Parenting Education for Divorcing or Separating Parents, 2026 class dates

Parents Forever is an educational class for parents and caregivers in the process of divorce, already divorced, or never married but separating. In this class, you will learn how family transitions affect children and how children experience family conflict. You will learn how to care for yourself during your family transition and how to prevent and reduce conflict. Offered monthly in Ashland and Bayfield Counties for divorcing parents and others involved in co-parenting situations.  Explore healthy strategies for parenting between two households and keeping kids out of the middle of parent conflicts.

  • Wednesday, January 7: 1pm – 4pm (V)
  • Friday, February 20: 9am – noon (IP)
  • Tuesday, April 14: 5pm – 8pm (V)
  • Thursday, May 28: 1pm – 4pm (IP)
  • Tuesday, July 21: 9am – noon (V)
  • Wednesday, September 16: 5pm – 8pm (V)
  • Thursday, October 29: 1pm – 4pm (IP)
  • Tuesday, December 8: 9am – noon (V)

Virtual (V) classes will be held online over zoom. An internet connection, webcam, microphone, and active participation are required to certify course completion.
In-Person (IP) classes will be held at the Northern Great Lakes Visitor Center, 29270 Co Hwy G, Ashland, WI

Online registration and fees must be submitted 5 business days before class. Registration Fee is $20. Please contact the Bayfield Extension Office to register by phone at 715-373-3288.
