Event Update
Thank you to all who attended the Spring Gala on May 4th, and another huge thank you to the artists participating in this year’s 4-H Art Contest! The full awards list is shown in the table on this page, and you can see all the art entries in the Ashland County Courthouse near the Extension Office on the 1st floor.
Certificates and prizes can be picked up at the office for those who could not attend Sunday’s event. Please see the Gala Slides showing the information shared at the event, and here is a viewable album of event photos. We look forward to more artwork and other projects throughout the year!



Please remember if you are entering the contest to bring your entry artworks (mixed media art with animals) to the 4-H Office by 6:30PM on April 28!

Join Ashland County 4-H in celebrating youth artists at the annual Art Contest Celebration! Artists have been working to create animal themed paintings using mixed media.
When: Sunday, May 4, from 2-4PM
Where: Stone Soup Cafe, 509 Main Street West in Ashland
Celebrate young artists with Ashland County 4-H at the annual Spring Gala! The results of this year’s 4-H Spring Art Contest will be shared, and all artwork entries will be on display. The year’s theme was Mixed Media canvases featuring at least one animal, so there is bound to be a variety of creative ideas flowing! See certificates and awards presented to all these talented youth. There will also be raffle prizes, refreshments, activities, and local 4-H updates.
