Elementary Adventure Days (EAD) 2022

Ashland County 4-H Elementary Adventure Days is returning for Summer 2022! See what 4-H is all about on these fun half-day excursions for youth grades 2-6. Lead by 4-H Volunteers, 4-H Youth Ambassadors, and trained outdoor professionals.

First Adventure – Houghton Falls Hike!

Monday, June 27 . 12:30-2:30PM . Meet at Houghton Falls parking lot

Get moving and explore a local hiking spot with 4-H!
Register by 9AM on Friday, June 24th.

 

Second Adventure – Farm Visit

Monday, July 18  .  1:00-3:00PM  .  Meet at Moonlight Meadows Farm

Learn about our local food system with one of our 4-H Families! The Mika Family Farm is located at 41359 Mika Rd. Marengo, WI. Register by 9AM on Friday, July 15th

 

Third Adventure – Paddling

Wednesday, August 24  .  1:00-4:00PM  .  Meet at Pamida Beach

Paddle with parks and rec activities assitant and practive the art of sand sculptures! Please bring swinsuits, towels, sunscreen, and a life jacket if you have one that fits (we’ll ahve some too). Register by 9AM on Monday, August 22nd

There is no charge for these adventures! Registration and Permission slips are required.
