Calling all 4-H Ashland County youth between the ages of 14-19! The Ambassador Club is officially restarting and we are doing this through a camp just for you! Camp Eagle Ridge in Mellen is partnering with us to provide a weekend of fun and learning for young adults in our program. Recommendations for camp come from Club Leaders and other 4-H Adults through a separate form.
Cost per camper is $60 with some financial assistance available.
Who: any Ashland County Youth between the ages of 14-19
Where: Camp Eagle Ridge in Mellen, WI on Lake Galilee (the site of the former 4-H Camp). See Eagle Ridge website here.
When: Begins at 1PM on Friday, June 14 and ends at 11AM on Sunday, June 16
What: This camp is a combination of outdoor fun and a revamp of the Ambassador Club. Activities include swimming and other water activities, trekking, scavenger hunts, and training in mentorship & leadership skills, project planning, and more!
Why: All campers will be eligible for young adult program opportunities in the future, will receive a leadership certificate and a recommendation letter for other applications after camp closes, and FUN
